KHC invites Compass Network hospitals to join us for this virtual event, during which we will provide Kansas hospital quality leaders an overview of the new Compass HQIC measure set and plans for next steps. KHC and our partners with QHi and KHIN will be available for questions.

KHC Webinar: Advance Care Planning III

Our March webinar—hosted by KHC in partnership with the Center for Practical Bioethics, KFMC Health Improvement Partners, and the Health Quality Innovation Network—will feature Part III on Advance Care Planning (ACP).  Parts I and II are available in the KHC Education Archive.

These sessions are intended for physicians, mid-level practitioners, nurses, social workers, and other health care professionals. Continuing Education credits are being provided at no cost for attending the live event and are applicable for RN, LPN, and LMHT professionals in Kansas and Missouri.

Part III will cover the role of standardized medical order sets in relation to ACP. It will address advanced illness medical order sets and accelerated ACP for use in a health crisis or amid a pandemic.
