Kansas hospitals recognized for leadership and innovation in quality improvement
Three Kansas hospitals received recognition for their leadership and achievement in quality improvement and patient safety by the Kansas Healthcare Collaborative (KHC). The awards were presented at the organization’s annual educational event, Summit on Quality, Friday, October 16. The awards were sponsored by the KaMMCO Foundation.
Kansas joins collaborative network to support large-scale health care transformation among clinician practices
Clinicians across Kansas now have new resources to support improved quality and outcomes for patients. Kansas is included in the Iowa Healthcare Collaborative’s (IHC) proposal that earned one of 39 Transforming Clinical Practice Initiative awards announced September 29 by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
Kansas selected to continue improvements in patient safety
Hospital Engagement Networks will continue in HEN 2.0
Kansas has been selected as one of 30 state hospital associations to again participate in the American Hospital Association/Health Research & Educational Trust Hospital Engagement Network (HEN). Kansas was included in AHA/HRET’s proposal to earn one of 17 “HEN 2.0” awards, which was announced September 25 by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
