June 26, 2019
10:00 - 11:00 a.m. CT
Kansas hospitals participating in the KHC Hospital Improvement Innovation Network (HIIN) are encouraged to attend our monthly virtual meetings, usually held the fourth Wednesday of each month from 10 to 11 a.m. CT. This month's event will take place Wednesday, June 26, 2019.
This month's topic will focus on "spring cleaning" in Quality Health Indicators (QHi) and reducing burden of patient safety quality measures. Have you wondered whether certain measures are still needed? We will identify and clarify aging HEN measures that are no longer needed for the HIIN patient safety initiative. In addition, special guests Sally Othmer and Stuart Moore of the Kansas Hospital Association will demonstrate best practices in using QHi for HIIN data submission, as well as share options available for continuing to use former HEN/HIIN measures, as needed for individual hospital use. Bring your questions.
Monthly KHC HIIN meetings provide direct access to subject matter experts, peer-to-peer sharing and KHC HIIN project leaders. This also is a good opportunity to stay in the know about the project, progress to date, resources and opportunities in quality and patient safety.
