Webinar: Antibiotic Use and Resistance in Kansas — Might we be doing more harm than good?

This collaborative initiative between KDHE and KHC focuses on antibiotic use and antibiotic resistance in Kansas. Kellie Wark, MD, MPH, will discuss recent trends in antibiotic prescribing and provide practical tools that prescribers can use in the outpatient setting to improve antibiotic stewardship in their practice.

KHC has submitted this program for continuing nursing education. Continuing nursing education credits are currently pending, as the program is currently being reviewed. KHC will update this section when the review process is completed. Pharmacy CE is pending approval by the board. There is no cost to participate. Dr. Wark is KDHE's HAI/AR expert and Antibiotic Stewardship Co-Lead, and is Assistant Professor of Infectious Diseases at University of Kansas Medical Center.
