10:00 - 11:00 a.m. CT
Kansas hospitals participating in the KHC Hospital Improvement Innovation Network (HIIN) are encouraged to attend our monthly virtual meetings, held the fourth Wednesday of each month from 10 to 11 a.m. CT.
Our featured topic this month will be sepsis and nurse-driven interventions. An improvement team from Coffeyville Regional Medical Center will share their success story in their Sepsis Super Heroes initiative, providing positive feedback and recognizing nurses doing the right thing.
In addition, Maryanne Whitney, improvement advisor, Cynosure Health, will review key strategies for implementing evidence-based practices and help field questions around sepsis and sepsis bundles.
Monthly KHC HIIN meetings provide direct access to subject matter experts, peer-to-peer sharing and KHC HIIN project leaders. This also is a good opportunity to stay in the know about the project, progress to date, resources and opportunities in quality and patient safety.
