It's the time of year to update the Quality Improvement Work Plans (QWIPs) in the IHC Compass Portal. Each hospital needs to select a minimum of two priority areas for quality improvement. Workplans are due no later than March 15th. Please check your inbox or spam folder for a link to set up your IHC Compass Portal account, if you haven’t done so yet. We reviewed the process for completing the workplan during the January KHC Office Hours for HQIC Hospitals. The recording and handouts are available in our Education Archive or you can reach out to your QIA if you need additional support.
As a HQIC network, Compass HQIC must meet a goal of 75% data reporting each month. This means that each state partner must ensure that 75% of the Compass HQIC measures are being reported for each hospital in the Compass HQIC network. Thank you to all our Kansas HQIC participating hospitals for ensuring that we accomplished this goal for December 2022.
The NHSN Annual Facility Survey is due no later than March 1st, 2023. Please log into NHSN to complete the survey if you have not already done so.
